I’m sorry darlin’s for not adding a rant this week…
Here’s why…
1) The viewers choice rant poll ended last week in a tie…and while I’m not sure if it has changed as of yet, I am sure that I have found a few new Idea’s that need tweaking.
2)Because of the tie, and because of the new idea’s trampling through my rant ready mind I have decided to hold a special rant off this coming week.
Next week beginning on June 22, 2009 (Monday) I will post 4 back to back rants.
Monday’s Topic: Viewer’s choice tied rant … you all voted for a rant about the need to hide the truth, and tied it with the desire for more sport rants…SO I’m going to rant about the sport’s companies and “players” that feel the need to hide the truth.
Tuesday’s Topic:“Government assistance agencies” that are not only bias, but do not have the peoples best interest at heart.
Wednesday: The US Patent Office…I mean really!
Thursday:They say they are “green”, People and/or companies that throw the word around with out truly fitting the bill.
Friday: Individual rant results, and a look ahead!
As for my rant on Unconditional Love: Well the turn out was better than expected. Love is ALWAYS a good ranting topic, but I may have hit a few of you in a place you weren’t ready for.
SO I will leave love off the table for at least 2 weeks, and see where we go from there.

Whatever happened to true unconditional love? The 4 letter “L” word gets used too often by people who have no idea what it REALLY means!
Love was meant to be that beat all, above all, feeling. Today however society as a whole has undermined it’s true significance.
I’m not unlike most women. I dream of the fairy tale love, but know that it’s virtually impossible to achieve. I believe that there is that ONE! That true, undeniable ONE person out there that was meant to be with me.
But… (Rant time)
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE… The no matter what, better or worse, Sexiest, or just OK looking, doesn’t matter what you do for a living, Money isn’t a factor, drive me crazy just knowing your happy, didn’t have a choice heart gave itself away LOVE…
THAT is what every one.. not just every woman, but every man, woman, child, HUMAN…EVERYONE deserves.
Love means your happiness means more to me than life itself, Love means sacrifice, and compromise, love means can’t go five seconds without a thought of your smile and can’t leave your presence or end a call with out being compelled by a force greater than myself to tell you exactly how I feel (on the off chance I may not ever be able to say it again).
THAT is what society has forgotten, THAT is what drives the true romantics and angers the truly sceptic.
There IS someone out there that can make these feelings real! I’ve been lucky enough to feel this way twice in my life.
Once when I was merely a child, And that man to this day (21 years, 1 month and 16 days later) he is still the only man I would walk away from any man for.
The second was a man that I met much later, in an attempt to forget the probably never meant to be of the first.
I would only give my life to save 6 men. My father, whom would never let me even if I could save him, my little brother, my 2 sons, and The two men above referenced.
I could care less what they do, or what they have done. I could care less what they have, or what they may obtain. It doesn’t matter who I would see them become..It only matters who they are…I love them! Unconditionally with out question, and without condition.
What happened to love like that? It’s alive and well in the heart of all of us. SOME are to blind to see it. SOME are too afraid of the hurt it could cause them. Some are more interested in the lustful nature of today’s society. AND OTHERS.. well others don’t believe it exists.
I have to say after publishing my first rant I was looking forward to disappointment.
Luckily I had more of a response than expected. Here is the LOW DOWN..

Due to one sports fan who agreed with my rant, a link was posted on a topix forum…hhhmmmm…
Rumors flew there over if I was talking about them..I’ll never tell!
What I will say is that forum did fit the bill! But may not have been the one I eluded too..either way it generated quite alot of back and forth bickering.

I LOVE SPORTS. While I admit I’m a Die hard NASCAR fan I also enjoy the more traditional sports, like college football, and Basketball. I say COLLEGE
sports, because lest be honest once you make the big leagues it looses it’s fun. It becomes about money and groupies..BLAH
What I HATE is stupid wannabe fans who think they know, have to voice every childish nasty thought and attack the athletes, their other fans, their personal lives, even their families and good deeds!
I went on a topix forum to check on what I thought was news of one of my favorite racers. Here were a slue of supposed fans bashing this guy, his wife, his charitable actions, and each other.
GET A GRIP PEOPLE! Honestly think about this.
You finally manage after a lifetime of dreaming to make it as a full time athlete. Your family struggling to support your effort, your friends rooting you on through every small achievement, you putting your other life goals aside to reach the point in your career that you can be at least somewhat proud of.
Finally a multi-year contract falls in your lap. Heck you earned it right?
So with SOME security you decide you’ve reached 1 dream it’s time to reach a few more. You spend every waking moment you aren’t stuck to your team, and it’s demands, giving back to your community, and to the charities you hold near and dear.
You FINALLY take a chance on love for the first time in a LONG time and hey it’s working out. You get married.
Then you go to your ever faithful fans to see what they are up to and all you read are rumors about how terrible a person you are. How your wife is nothing more than a money grubbing wench out for her moment in the spotlight and you are just a needed rung on her ladder.
You hear how your “charity” work is all a hoax to benifit you in the long run or some member of your family, that you don’t REALLY care you just THINK you care.
Next thing you know you read article about your wife having an affair, Heck a few even challenge whether you are faithful to her.
I’m SERIOUS people sit back and think about what you are doing! Not just to the reputations of people you honestly don’t know, but to yourselves.
